We understand that sometimes, you just need some resources to help you with your daily floor care. To help with this, we’ve compiled some care tips for you to look at in order to help you keep your floors as clean as possible.

For Carpet Care

  • Vacuum your floor frequently to remove loose dirt and dust.
  • The longer the spill sit on carpets, the harder it’ll be to remove the stain. Always treat the affected area immediately. Wipe up stains immediately with a mild detergent and water.
  • Best Practice is to use a vacuum with a rotating brush, a beater bar, or suction only.
  • Keeping traffic and other use factors in mind, consider professional cleaning every 6 to12 months.
  • Use scissors to clip sprouts and snags. Don’t pull on them—you might damage the carpet.
  • Remove heavy furniture dents by stroking the dented area with the edge of a coin. You can also use a hair dryer, but be very careful not to touch the carpet with the dryer.
  • For extensive water damage, consult professional cleaners to dry your carpet from the front and back.

For Tile & Grout Care

  • Sweep up loose dirt and dust frequently
  • We do not recommend using soap-based cleaners on tiles. Soap can leave a film, dull the surface, and promotes mildew.
  • You should not use acid or ammonia-based cleaners because it could affect the color of the grout.
  • Do not use steel wool or other abrasives on tile or stone. These can scratch and dull the surface.
  • The best process to clean tile and grout is to apply a neutral pH cleaner to your tile and grout and let soak for 5 minutes... then mop as usual.
